Ramz, whose real name is Ramone Rochester, is set to join the UK’s list of internationally popular melodic rap stars after emerging from the underground scene into the mainstream limelight with his debut single.

His track Barking debuted on online platform GRM Daily in September 2017, went viral instantly and has subsequently amassed over 17 million views on YouTube, 13 million total plays and 450,000 daily streams on Spotify. After being officially released in December 2017, Barking has peaked at number two in the Official Single Charts and is competing with Eminem and Ed Sheeran’s single River for the number one spot. Speaking on the single’s success, Ramz said ‘I knew the song was a banger but actually witnessing people sing it word for word in real life is mad’. In July 2018, Ramz will perform at Wireless Festival alongside artists including Stormzy, Migos, J Hus and French Montana.
